How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find Momentum and tap it
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Is my data private?
Yes! Your privacy is our priority. Here's how we protect your data:
- All your personal data is stored on your device and your personal iCloud account
- We don't have access to your coaching conversations or personal information
- Conversations are processed by Anthropic's AI to generate responses, but are not stored on our servers
- You can delete all your data at any time through Account → Delete Account & Data

How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Momentum purchase
- Select "Request a refund" and follow the prompts
Why can't I see my data on a new device?
Momentum uses iCloud to sync your data between devices. To ensure sync works:
- Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on both devices
- Check that iCloud is enabled for Momentum (Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud)
- Ensure both devices have an internet connection
- Wait a few minutes for sync to complete
If data still doesn't appear, try closing and reopening the app.
Is Momentum a replacement for therapy?
No. Momentum is designed for personal development and self-reflection, not as a substitute for professional mental health services.
If you're experiencing mental health difficulties, emotional distress, or any medical concerns, please seek help from qualified healthcare professionals. The AI coach cannot provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Momentum works well for people who've done therapy and now need action support—but it's not a replacement.
In case of emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete all your data directly within the app:
- Open Momentum and go to the Account tab
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account & Data"
- Confirm the deletion
This will permanently delete all your data from your device and iCloud. This action cannot be undone.
Note: If you have an active subscription, you should also cancel it through your Apple ID settings to prevent future charges.
